Welcome to the Gingerbread Kitchen. This beautiful
little building became a major focus of the Chicago International
Miniature Show in April.
It also drew constant "ooohs and aaaahhs" at the International
Guild of Miniature Artisans show in Teaneck, NJ in February, 2008,
the The Sturbridge Festival
of Miniatures, in Sturbridge, MA in June, and also at the National
NeedleArts Association trade show
(open to trade only), Columbus, OH.
The Gingerbread Kitchen has been delivered to its
new home in the Kathleen Savage Browning Miniatures Collection
at the Kentucky Gateway Museum
Center in Maysville, Kentucky, where it will be on display
seasonally.
For those of you who have seen the sweet world inside the Gingerbread
Kitchen in person, I hope you will always remember it. Kaye Browning
and I extend an invitation to everyone to visit Maysville, KY and
see this creation in person along with one of the most beautiful
collections of exquisite miniatures on the planet.
This special miniature house was featured in the June issue if
Miniature Collector magazine as well as several other international
publications this year.
A photo book of this wonderful house is available
for $45 plus postage by calling Teresa between 9am and 8pm eastern
time and supplying your credit card information. Teresa will be teaching a class in making a gingerbread doll's house at the Chicago International miniature show in April 2010. You won't want to miss this opportunity to study with her. |
